Features: Purchased Stock
Purchased stock is divided into Raw Materials and Bought-in Components. Both have:
- Part Code, Description, Part Category, Supplier, Supplier Part Code, Purchase Units, Issue Units, Conversion Factor (converts between Purchase Units and Issue Units), Unit Cost, Physical Stock, Minimum Stock, Minimum Re-order Quantity, Lead Time, Re-order Period
- Unit Cost can be for either Purchase Units or Issue Units
- Physical Stock/Minimum Stock can be in either Purchase Units or Issue Units
- Optionally record Certificate of Conformity and/or Batch Identification details
Raw Materials and Bought-in Components differ in that:
- Bought-in Components can only be ordered/used in whole number quantities whilst Raw Materials may be ordered/used in decimal part quantities (e.g., 2.56 metres)
- Bought-in Components can optionally have their Serial Numbers recorded
